Tasting note

The Beaujolais-Villages, Reserve Vieilles Vignes is a wine with a quite strong colour, slightly purpish. A discret, floral and fruity nose with notes of black fruit and cherries. A balanced and a well-rounded mouth. A rich, structured and matured wine. The final is very harmonious. It is a full and expressive wine, very pleasant to drink !

Keeping and suggestion

Domaine Monternot : the love of  wine

Jacky and Bernard Monternot love their job. The twins are passionate about their vine and wine. The twelve acres of their vineyard are grassed ; the harvest is severely sorted out. For the both men, the soils are the more important : "We certainly do not want to standardized our wines", they say together. Their aim is to produce smouth wine that become excellent with age.
